How Many Green Giants In a Row Are Too Many?
I agree with conservative thinkers who believe diversification is important for safety and security. Insects and fungus constantly evolve and can kill off any species.
As the picture below shows, a full row of Green Giant looks very attractive. Highly uniform looking, very small deviation in shape and size.
Non known diseases. Deer and disease resistant. Occasionally a buck white tail will mark his territory and they usually select a 5-6’ tree. This is probably a mating strategy.
One of the fastest growing privacy trees, normally grows 3-4’ a year if it is fertilized plenty.
We highly recommend the Green Giant Arborvitae for the Midwest and the Southeast, of course many more evergreen choices for warmer climates.
