Planting 16' Green Giant Thuja for Privacy

Trees of all different sizes are available for privacy. For those who seek an immediate impact the 16’ Green Giant Thujas are an excellent choice. When planted 5’ apart their branches will completely lock together at the lower half within a year and the top portion will stretch upwards around 48” of new growth. They will form a pleasant looking green wall and provide shelter to birds.

These trees weigh around 1,000 Lbs each. Unlike the smaller trees which can be planted just about anytime of the year outside of hard freeze, the 16’ Green Giant Thuja should be planted only in the early Spring or late Fall. They respond well to compost and inorganic fertilizers spread on top of the ground, usually showing new growth within 2 months.
